Three drunken Maidens

There were three drunken maidens
came from the Isle of Wight
They drunk from Monday morning
never stopped till Saturday night
Then Saturday night did come me lads
but still they would’nt get out
And then three drunken maidens
they pushed the jug about

Then in came bouncing sally her cheeks as rosy bloom
Move up me jolly sisters and give young Sally some room

And then four drunken maidens they pushed the jug about

They had woodcock and pheasant partridge and hare
and every sort of dainty no scarcity was there
They'd forty quarts of beer me lads but still they would’nt get out
And then four drunken maidens they pushed the jug about

Then in came the landlord he was looking for his pay
It was a fourty pound bill the girls were forced to pay
They had ten pounds a piece me lads but still they would’nt get out
And then four drunken maidens they pushed the jug about

Where are your feathered hats and your mantles rich and fine
They've all been swallowed up me lads in tankards of good wine
And where are your maidenheads you maidens brisk and gay
We left them in the alehouse we drank them clean away

There were three drunken maidens...
